Register to Vote
The deadline to register to vote is 15 days prior to the election date. Conditional Voter Registration is a new safety net for Californians who miss the deadline to register to vote or update their voter registration information for an election.
Eligible citizens who miss the deadline can go to their county elections office or a designated satellite location to register and vote conditionally. Their ballots will be processed once the county elections office has completed the voter registration verification process. Voters can complete the conditional voter registration process 14 days before an election all the way through to that Election Day.
- You must be a U.S. citizen at the time you register
- You must be at least 18 years of age before the date of the next election
- You may not be in prison or on parole for a felony conviction.
You must re-register if you:
- Change your name
- Change your political party affiliation

Where do I vote:
Your polling place will be listed on the back page of the Sample Ballot and Voter Information Pamphlet which will be mailed to you by the San Bernardino Elections Office of the Registrar of Voters. Click here to access your polling place and sample ballot on-line.
Voters now have a choice in how they receive their Voter Information Guide and Sample Ballot. City Hall has the "Application for Electronic Voter Information Guide" available at the information desk or you can go to www.sbcountyelections.com to register online to receive your Voter Information Guide and Sample Ballot electronically. If you submit the application you will no longer receive your Voter information Guide and Sample Ballot in the mail.
