Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee
The Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee acts in an advisory capacity on issues pertaining to environmental impacts, sustainability practices, and legislative mandates that impact the environmental health and the well-being of the City of Upland and its residents. The Committee will collaborate on environmental matters to promote environmental sustainability within the community. The Committee will make recommendations in regard to community clean-ups, beautification campaigns, Earth Day events, public outreach, and education on issues including recycling, storm water pollution, water conservation and sustainability practices. The Committees mission is to improve the overall environmental health of the City. This Committee was established in 2021.
The Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee meets quarterly, the 3rd Wednesday of January, April, July, and October. Agendas are prepared by Public Works. This committee is composed of five citizens who are appointed by the City Council.
