How Can I Help?
Many Upland community members have reached out to ask how they can help the 39 families, over 200 people, displaced by this devastating fire. The City of Upland has partnered with the Upland Community Resource Center as the official aid organization in this relief effort.

On May 4, 2021 at 2:45pm, San Bernardino County Fire crews were dispatched to a reported commercial fire in the 900 block of W. 7th Street. Multiple 911 callers stated they saw smoke from the apartment complex.
In total more than 50 units were impacted by fire, smoke, water damage, or by utility outage. Approximately 200 residents have been displaced by the fire. The building received heavy structural damage and is currently uninhabitable. The Upland Emergency Management Department is working with community partners to assist the victims of the fire.
