Titanic The Experience
Visit one of the newest exhibits in Orange County – Titanic The Experience. Take an adventure back in time to over 100 years ago where authentic artifacts and interactive story-tellers in period costume allow you to visit the unforgettable sights, sounds and emotions of the most famous Ship even to set sail, Titanic. The story of the sinking is legendary; now experience the wonder and tragedy of this ill-fated Ship on a journey through Titanic history. Tours are self-guided with an audio headset. Admission to museum is included. Next, a quick drive down the street to the Knott’s Berry Farm California Marketplace for shopping and lunch on your own.

Avocados O' Plenty/Avocado Festival
Get your taste buds ready for Fallbrook’s Annual Avocado Festival!!! The central role that the avocado plays in our lives is evident in the Festival’s Farmers Market, Agricultural Area, Avocado Culinary Demonstrations, Guacamole Contest, Avocado Ice Cream, Holy Guaca-Moly, the Art of the Avocado Contest, the Avo-500 Children’s Car Race, and the Best Decorated Avocado Contest. A wide variety of agricultural displays are also found all along the Festival streets. What a fun-filled way to celebrate our heritage and be entertained at the same time. The Discovery Of King Tut
We’ll start our day off with lunch, included, at Anthony’s Fish Grotto. Menu choices include: Wedge Salad with Bay Shrimp; or Fish & Chips; or a Char-broiled chicken sandwich. All entrees come with coffee, tea, soft drink or water. (Please request your lunch choice at time of registration.) After our tasty lunch, we’ll head over to the San Diego Natural History Museum located at Balboa Park for “The Discovery of King Tut” exhibition, admission included. Journey through time to the mysterious world of ancient Egypt and step into King Tut’s tomb exactly as it was discovered in 1922. Enjoy the breathtaking recreation of King Tut’s burial chamber and more than 1,000 scientifically reproduced artifacts. Tours are self-guided and your admission also includes a chance to view the “Mummies 3-D, Secrets of the Pharaohs” movie in the Giant Screen Theater. San Diego Maritime Tribute
Let’s head down to sunny San Diego for a visit to the San Diego Maritime Museum. Today’s guided tour includes the Star of India, HMS Surprise, B-39 Submarine, The Berkeley and the Medea, as well as the museum. Also available for touring is the full-sized and fully functional historical flagship replica of the “San Salvador”. Tours are two hours long. Please be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Next, we’ll head over to Tom Ham’s Lighthouse for lunch, included. Menu choices include: Chicken Cesar Salad; or Fish & Chips; or Lobster Roll; or a Crab BLT sandwich; or the Tom Ham’s burger. All entrees come with coffee, tea, soft drink or water. After lunch, we’ll head over to Seaport Village for some time spent with friends and family. Huell Howser Tribute
We’ll start our day off with a stop in Old Towne Orange for lunch and antique shopping and browsing on your own. Next, we’ll stop around corner at Chapman University. Enjoy the newly open Huell Howser exhibit. The joy that the late TV legend Huell Howser shared with generations of Californians infuses a new permanent exhibit, sponsored by the Automobile Club of Southern California. Housed in the Chapman University’s Leatherby Library, the exhibit includes images, text and artifacts, which outline Howser’s career and legacy in California along with an archive of all of the episodes of his Calfornia’s Gold TV show. A donation will be made on behalf of your group tour to the Huell Howser California’s Gold Scholarship Endowment which is awarded to students who demonstrate a positive outlook and are actively pursuing ways to improve society as altruistic change agents.
