M. Gibson Center
The George M. Gibson Senior Center,
located a 250 N. Third Avenue, is available for senior groups
on a rental basis. Three meeting rooms are available within the
facility. Rooms can be reserved up to six months in advance either
in person or by phone. Reservations must be made at least two
weeks in advance. The Center is a non-smoking facility. It is
the responsibility of the reserving party for all set-up prior
to and clean-up following the event. Amplification of live music
is not allowed unless pre-approved by Recreation.
At the discretion
of the Recreation Office, the reserving party may be required
to obtain the services of the Upland Police Department for security.
A fee will be charge, which will be quoted by the Police Department.
Reservations can be made in person at the Senior Center or by
calling (909) 981-4501.
Dining Room
The dining room can accommodate up to 150. Tables and chairs
are located within the room . An attached kitchen is available
at no extra charge.
Arts and Crafts Room
This meeting room can accommodate up to 30 and can be divided
into two separate rooms.
Game Room
The game room is set up with eight square tables with four chairs
per table.
