City of Upland 11th Annual Relay For Life

Location: Magnolia Park, 651 W. 15th St., Upland

Relay For Life is a 24-hour community gathering where everyone can participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out at a local high school, park or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event – because cancer never sleeps. Relays are an overnight event, up to 24 hours in length. Relay For Life brings together millions of people to raise money to help prevent cancer, save lives, and diminish suffering from the disease. While you’re raising much needed funds, you’ll also be raising awareness of cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and patient support. Relay brings people together from all walks of life with the common goal of eliminating cancer. No matter who you are, there’s a place for you at Relay. 2013 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular Celebration
Date: 7/4/2013 • Time: 9:00 p.m. Gates Open At 5:30 p.m.
Location: Upland High School Football Stadium

The City of Upland is proud to present its 27th Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular Celebration! This year's celebratory show will feature over 1500 pyrotechnic shells. Tickets will go on sale on June 3 at Upland Recreation and Community Services, Upland Public Library and Ford of Upland. $8.00 per person pre-sale and $10.00 per person the day of the event. 2 years and Under: FREE. The ticket booth and admission gates at the stadium will open at 5:30 p.m., with THE DOGS performance beginning at 6:00 p.m. The Fireworks Sky Concert is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. For sponsorship information, please contact the Recreation Division at (909) 931-4281.

We will be going from the Outback to the Glaciers, Australia, and New Zealand with a 3-night optional Fiji post tour in January 2014. We will also visit the Canadian Rockies by Train in April 2014.
